We’re collecting 16 oz jars of peanut butter for our church’s Backpack Ministry, which discreetly sends home weekend meals with students facing food insecurity. They currently pack about 190 bags every week.
Our goal: 2,555 oz — 1 oz for every day of marriage. That’s 159 lbs or 159 jars (16 oz each).
Every donation enters you into a raffle to win a peanut-butter-themed gift basket. You’ll receive 1 raffle entry per 16 oz jar or per $2 donated. The deadline to enter is Sunday, October 11th. The drawing will take place on October 12.
